Burnaby Village Museum reopens for spring break
March 2, 2022
Burnaby Village Museum will reopen for spring break from March 14 to 25 to offer visitors an immersive experience of the 1920s village comprising heritage and recreated buildings. The open-air, 10-acre site includes homes, businesses, a schoolhouse, a farmhouse and a blacksmith shop.
Families can learn more about Burnaby's history by visiting the Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee & Co. herbalist shop to discover the role of Chinese medicine in shaping communities like Burnaby, or the Burnaby Lake General store to learn about popular 1920s store purchases. Visitors can also enjoy a ride on the restored 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel for $2.65 and listen to our costumed staff share stories and give demonstrations.
Admission is free. Advance online reservations are not required.
