Museum volunteers take on a variety of exciting roles including: sharing activities with the public; assisting with school programs and groups; helping with special events; working with the historical artifacts in the collection; and more.
Join our team
Applicants to the museum's volunteer program must:
- be minimum 14 years of age (parental consent is required for all applicants under the age of 18)
- have valid medical coverage/insurance
- be fluent in English
- be eligible to volunteer in Canada
- provide two references
- commit to a minimum of one year, and at least 35 hours of volunteer service per year
- be physically able to navigate the museum’s 10-acre site
